Article on vet recommendation but it talks about the possibility of the bird giving you psittacosis when, in reality, the contagion is made through aerosolized poop PLUS it does not mention the danger to the bird from being kissed by a human! Human mouths have human bacteria that birds are not resistant to (because nature never counted on people kissing birds in the beak!) and can get a bird might sick.

There’s also the possibility of the bird having parasites. Particularly wild caught or aviary birds.

Yes, but I do not think that a human can 'catch' a bird parasite either by kissing its beak or in any other way. I will do more research about this because you did present a different aspect of the issue that I did not think about (and thank you for that!) but, usually, internal as well as external parasites are pretty specific to which species is host and/or which species is infected by it - much more so than pathogens of which we have a number, rapidly increasing, that are zoonotic.
