Many people believe that fruits should be restricted for parrots because of its high sugar content but this is incorrect (even avian vets say this, proving they don't know enough about parrots natural diets). See below article meant for humans but which can be applied to parrots (not the dry fruit part though - they might be OK for people as a snack but never for a parrot!):
