Picky eaters study

Postby Pajarita » Sat Sep 12, 2020 11:03 am

Scientists are now studying why some animals are pickier than others to see if there are different ways for parent animals to teach their young. I do wish they would study parrots so we would all have a better idea of what to do and what not to do when it comes to convincing them to try new things but I have found that familiarity (keep on putting that fruit there until it 'happens'), apparent nonchalance (do not insist or even look as if you care) and teaching by example (eat it yourself) as well as timing (SUPER important) work.
