Article first, nutrition second. If you carve pumpkins for Halloween, do not throw away the insides, save both the seeds (either air or oven dry) and the 'meat' which you can feed to the birds (nuke or bake). And, if you have only one or too few birds to use the whole thing, please remember that you can make a very nice jam or soup with it!
