I contacted the company to see if htey give out free samples of their food to try my guys on. They sent me some packages by mail, I got them in about a week. If you want to try your birds on the food before going out and spending lots of money on it, thats a good way to find out if htye will even touch it.

I have not tried it on my birds yet, but am looking forward to offering them something new to try.

:amazon: Rambo's Avian Vet suggested I put him on RoudyBush. He is too stubborn to try it. :amazon2: Myrtle loves it and consumes at least half for her daily intake. The other half is fresh food and seed. I ordered RoudyBush crumbles for my tiels. They love it and have cut back drastically on their seed.

I have my birds on pellets right now, but after speaking with a friend and seeing her birds, I am definitely making the switch to Harrisons/Totally Organics. She has a Caique and a GCC, and they both have absolutely BRILLIANT and GLOSSY feathers. Almost reflective. They've eaten nothing but organic their whole lives, and it really shows.

I've always thought Caiques just have pretty dull, ratty feathers compared to the other parrots, because all of the ones I've seen have that. But this one was amazing.

Switch.
