Just make sure you give the bird unsalted/unpeppered eggs. Really doesn't need to be eating that. Glad your bird enjoyed it, what about you?

BTW I don't eat eggs anymore either but that's a whole other story.

I know this post is not directly about scrambled eggs, but that is at indirectly the subject. My bird is a 2 year old Blue Headed conure. She has three food dishes, A dish for a seed mix ABBA 1300 which has a nice mixture of seeds, nuts and dried fruits. A second dish has pellets. The third dish I put edamame and corn that was frozen and has been defrosted in the microwave ( I had been using succotash, but found the she only ate the corn). When she is out of the cage I give her red peppers eggs, almonds, cheese all of which she loves. My wife says that I am giving her too much protean. Does anyone here have any information or sources of information about what is the correct balance of protean to carbohydrate?

How do you make a scrambled egg for birds? Are there any indigrients I shouldn't add? I guess I shouldn't add salt, but are there any other harmful indigrients I should avoid? Do I cook it with butter, or without? :senegal:

When I make scrambled egg for my parrot I do not add anything at all to the egg. I just lightly spray the pan so that it doesn't stick. Gotta spray the pan, we're all not using Teflon, right?

The trick is to make the eggs completely plain and cut out a little bit for your bird (really doesn't take much) and then do whatever to the remaining eggs that you do when you eat them.
