tonight i had skeeter out on my shouler then he took off which surprised me i think he was surprised too (it seems everyday he can fly arther) anyway he turned to avoid hitting the wall and flew out of my room out into the hallway and onto a big hanging chandalear. he still doesent know how to come down so he saw the chandalear as a place to land he looked scared because he landed upside down hanging like a bat you know? i started calling him like we were training and he flew to me! it was a prety far distance too about 10 feet i think anyway he flew to me!! i thought he would be to scared but he actually flew to me!!! im so happy! when he got back to me the first thing he did was crawl into my shirt and started chirping i think he was as happy as i was to be back haha anyway its good to feel like your hard work paid off! :D

Now make sure to take extra special care that there are no ceiling fans running, keeping doors and windows closed, etc. You have a flighted bird and you can't take any chances. Also make sure someone else doesn't make those mistakes either.

Good job training that he went back to you.

There is nothing more awesome than birds in flight! As specially when they want to fly to you! I have 5 babies doing that now :)

Congratulations and enjoy every minute of it
