That mealworm paper is interesting, kind of gross that people eat them but hey, if it solves lots of nutritional problems than great!
They have more protein than I thought, it must do with the substrate they were raised on for that study. Do you raise your mealworms on that mix?
I also guess I should have elaborated more because I was mostly concerned about the entire nutrient content of the diet for an unweaned bird as mealworms and eggs are too fatty and wouldn't provide enough of the correct protein ratio (it all starts with lysine and whether there is enough in the food) and my answer was too quick and incomplete
Its good to pull me up on these things though...
