Feather chewing?

Postby Ben » Mon Sep 13, 2010 4:15 am

Hi all.

Jabba is settling in nicely now. I am getting his nibbling under control and learning quickly what he likes (and doesnt! )

Anyway, later His crop feathers seem to be a little thin. I have never seen him plucking (and neither has my partner) but I have seem him chewing at his feathers. He doesnt have any bald spots or patches either.

Perhaps its my imagination. I do tend to worry about plucking.

Couple of pictures:

He didnt want his picture taken! Had to distract him.

Look ok?

He may be molting. All our fids look really raggedy (ok so Scarlet is always raggedy) right now since all four are molting.

Jabba is still a cute boy though :D
