Michael it had nothing to do with flight
at all and when I post the pictures you will see what I mean. She sometimes wants out of her cage and tries to squeeze herself into stupid parts of the cage and i think this is how it must have happened. Later tonight I will post more detailed information about the whole thing.
To cut a long story short, it was a lot worse than it looked as the feathers were hiding a lot of the damage. Originally I was told two Stitches and she would be back to normal in a couple of days. She ended up having stitches from the trailing edge of her wing where it meets the body up to her elbow, all along the trailing edge if that makes sense.
The up side is they didn't remove any feathers. Will post more details when I get home . . Waiting in the car at the moment for my son to finish school. . she is in the car with me eating apple
