I am not as knowledgeable as many who write, and I have a lovebird, but I'll respond anyway. My vet, an avian specialist, has recommended ZuPreem along with other brands. I am currently mixing ZuPreem's Avian Maintenance Natural Diet (Fortified with Vitamins and Minerals) with seed

This topic here: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=3081 is alllll about Zupreem - and other pellet brands, too :)

My bird is currently on a Zupreem coloured + seed mix diet that the pet store was feeding him, but we're in the process os switching to Roudybush.

I don't like the Zupreem colored at all. It smells strongly, it's got so much added flavoring and coloring...my parrot's poop is like rainbow! It's orangey, then yellowy, then reddish, then greeny...and it's not from disease (he's a healthy weight) and his poop stains white cloth with *colors* ...so yeah, they definitely overdo the food coloring on those pellets because he poops it out like crazy.
