"Preening" your Parrot

Postby Titanius » Mon Oct 04, 2010 7:01 pm

Diamond usually bows her head for it whenever I come near here. Is her head always that itchy or is it partially her wanting to bond? Because personally I'd go insane if I was always that itchy and couldn't scratch myself at certain places. Just wondering what you guys think.

Preening is how parrots and birds of all sorts socialize. She just wants to bond with you! Of course... Getting scratches probably feels really nice, too!

Oh my gosh, if I were a bird I'd constantly be wanting scritches! I liken them to head rubs and back massages and I can't get enough of those!!! :P Hm... I wonder what kind of bird I'd be?

I think so! Shall I start a new thread in General/Off topic? :)

I don't know enough about all the species to say for sure what I'd be... maybe something cuddly and clowny with a nasty bite like a conure!
