I'd agree that a sprouting mix is a good place to start if you have access to one. The only thing I'm aware of that is not good to feed raw (for people too) and shouldn't be fed raw or sprouted are kidney beans, but I don't know for sure that there aren't other legumes or beans that have the same properties.
The sprouting mix I use has a number of smaller seeds in it I can't readily identify, but it definitely has peas, adzuki beans, chickpeas, fenugreek, alfalfa and a ton of other stuff. This
article lists some good things to sprout, but if you buy a mix to start with you will see what your bird particularly likes.
