With peas should they be fresh or frozen or canned? Probably fresh right? I will see if they like that. Thanks for the help! :gcc:

i buy a bag of frozen veges, usually its corn/peas/carrot and i reserve some for the birds when im making my dinner

Their favorite foods seem to vary a little bit. Almonds and grapes are always a favorite but they love strawberries, poms, oranges, bananas, peas, pasta, and broccoli.

They would probably also love whatever I am eating but I try not to do that since I don't want them to have to much salt. Maybe if I followed my birds diet, I'd be a lot healthier too!

Kiku (meyer's parrot) loves grapes, apples, peas, beans, broccolli, sweet corn, and pico de gallo (tomatoes, chiles, and onions). She hasn't deigned to try oranges, bananas, or spaghetti squash (she leaves them untouched), and she'll eat cooked carrots but not raw ones. She tried blackberries but didn't seem to like them.

I am jealous that you all can get your birds to eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Despite my best efforts, my birds have only seen fit to eat their seed mix and millet. I've tried pellets for them to no avail. I've tried all kinds of other stuff that they leave sit there. The only thing Pigpen even tried to touch was a jalapeno pepper. And even then, that was to drag it to the bottom of her cage so she could get to the seed I tried to trick her with.

Oh, Kiku will do anything for seeds - they're her absolute favorite, and she digs them out of the pellet food that I'm trying to get her to eat :/

Rico's favourite is definitely apple, but he also loves yogurt...is that good for him? He doesn't get a lot of it, I just share mine with him in the morning. He also likes bread. It's a bit of a struggle to get him to try new things since he was on an all seed diet when I got him, but we're working on it. :senegal:

Sheldon loves green seedless grapes, pear, apples and carrots. I sometimes mix a bunch of fruit and vegetables together, add a teaspoon of his powder and blend it. He goes crazy over it :)
