The senegal enjoys bites of my nose, while the goffin prefers chair backs and the steering wheel of my car. The parakeets will do anything for millet.

Dave, LOL! My harlequin will devour anything that's wood. I put him on the back of one of my kitchen chairs once without thinking and I came back to find it with half its spindles gone.

As for food... the macaws love fruit...apples, grapes, bananas. They LOVE orange juice and our Catalina will yell "JUICE!" across the room as soon as he sees the carton. My Jardine's will eat anything you give him, he doesn't seem to have a preference, but our Hahn's LOVE blueberries. Grapes are a close second.

In the bad food category, they all love mac n cheese and french fries. The macaws are garbage disposals and will eat anything you leave out, including cheeeburgers and pizza. Walnuts and cashews are their favorite treats though.

Cheney Bird loves loves LOVES Cheerios. They are his absolute favorite breakfast, so much so that he's starting to smell like a Cheerio. He also loves rice and beans. My boyfriend (who is Mexican) says he's a "beaner bird" and will fit right in his family. I, on the other hand, am not too fond of racial slurs and prefer to think of my bird as a culturally diverse eater with a preferance towards rice and black beans.

He also seems to like jalapeno peppers and warm corn tortilla strips. I'm debating telling my boyfriend about this for fear that he'll think it's a long lost relative. ;)

Mine loves Cucumber (raw, sliced or the juice) and he can't resist banana's (for which he goes completely banana's).............. ohhh and Raisins :).

jeff eats all sorts of natural vegitables and most of the fruits that i've given him recently including GUAVA. Afterall My country grows and produces the best crop of fruits and meat in the world... so my parrot is one lucky son of parrot :P.

marty is a blue headed pionus
he really likes most dried fruit and veggies, and absolutely loves anything spicy! he eats all kinds of peppers fresh and dried
for his favorites fruit: Grape, blueberries and nectarine
veggies: corn, peppers, peas
he tries a lot of different things but he hates anything that tastes citrusy lol

for those of you who are having trouble getting your bird to eat healthy try small pieces of dried cut up fruit and veggies, try corn on the cob dried and then try it fresh
i would also try spicy things like peppers most birds enjoy anything spicy :)
