What scale do you use to weigh your bird?

Pretty self explanatory...I'm in the market for one, preferable not too expensive. What do you use?

I use the kitchen scale I already had. It's digital, switches between English and metric units. If your bird will sit on the scale, or you have a light perch and the scale has a tare function, which kitchen scales usually do, you don't really need anything bird specific.

What brand is it? I'll have to look at kitchen scales too.

It's a Salter. It's a pretty pricey, spiffy glass-top kitchen scale from Williams-Sonoma... you don't really NEED that! It's a good scale, though. I've had it several years.

If you look around at some pet stores or bird stores, you will probably find the scales with built in t-perch. I've seen them at a couple of stores.

They might be a little pricey, but at least it's easier to weigh them.

Starfrit, around 20$, no perch, but I got Jazz used to stepping on it and I think he even likes it now.

Awesome. Since it does have the Tate I could always build my own perch stand and affix it. I will also keep an eye out if I see any bird stores locally....

I have a Starfrit digital scale with a glass top. I bought it while it was on sale for $19.99, regular price is $29.99 at Canadian Tire (not sure if it's available outside of Canada). It works really well for both of my birds. I don't use a perch of any kind, both birds have no problem standing on the glass for a minute while they're being weighed.

I got the exact same one for less than $20 at Canadian Tire ... I think it was onsale for $15. All of my birds don't have a problem standing on it, so it works in our house.
