Higgins Worldly Cuisine

Postby entrancedbymyGCC » Sat Apr 09, 2011 8:07 pm

I picked up some of these a while ago and finally cooked up a batch this morning. The flavor is called "Passage to India" and OMG it smelled so good I may have some of the leftovers! I'm now craving Indian food. The birds weren't sure about it at first, but I'll see if it grows on them.

Anyone else ever feed these? I have another called "Creamy Zen" sitting on the shelf next to the Harrison's Birdie Bread mix I have not yet made.

I recently tried African Sunset and it smelled really good too. A lot like cinnamon oatmeal. My birds loved it.

Where did you find it at? I don't think I've ever seen it at my local bird store.

But Indian food... mmmm.

Higgins actually sent it to me for free! It was very exciting! I don't know where to buy it but I am going to find out soon because I want to try another flavor.

creamy zen was good, the inca bean mix one was smelling great, but not a big hit with the fids.

I think I got it from Fosters and Smith online. Scooter isn't too excited by it, and Scotty, typically, picks out the nuts...

You can always eat it if they don't like it.

I have to be careful about what I get for Cheney Bird. He's very particular about his foods and avoids mash type stuff like the plague.
