I should also say, Cheney Bird is currently clipped, but not because I wanted him that way. He will be unclipped from this point forward. I also use the same approach with the budgies and they're both fully flighted.

I think this is a perfect way to describe it! I got a parrot, but what I really signed up for was raising a toddler for the next 20 to 30 years. I don't have children, but I've babysat enough unruly toddlers and adolescents (sometimes 5 at a time!) enough to realize that the same methods work for both a misbehaving 3 year old and a misbehaving bird.
