Sprouting is always healthy, I cook my beans for about 10mins. But you can google the more exact times depending on the type of beans you have.

Baking is interesting, I've never tried it personally. I'd be afraid to burn them, so I just boil. But I think either method would work fine.

Why would you cook a sprouted bean? Have you ever eaten bean sprouts?
When you plant a garden as soon as the green sprouts up the birds eat then.
If you wash the beans first to get particles off like you would for yourself - let them sprout in the fridg - rinse the sprouts in cold water - feed. They enjoy picking through them one by one and raw vegetable has more vitamins than a cooked one.

Rambo and Myrtle were tearing up their toys, so I went into the back yard and cut off a maple branch. I cut it to 1 foot lengths - rinsed it in cold water and they enjoyed disasembling them.
I learned while rehabbing at the zoo that you have to give them enrichment or they get bored and distructive.
