Kids learn to eat what their parents eat. If the parents are junk food junkies the kids will grow up that way. They learn from their parents.

We are parrot parents. They want to eat what we eat. If I offer something to Amazons Rambo and Myrtle and they refuse it, I eat it. Then they complain that they want some. Rambo is the worst. He wants whatever is being eaten by anyone.

Just like one person said that she caught her parrot eating dog food because he watched the dog eat it.

I don't give my cockatiel pellets. I give them crumbles and they love it. They went from seed eaters to RoudyBush eaters. Of course they like their fruit, veggies and grains.
