Harrisons organic pellet w/seed

Postby laducockatiel » Mon Jul 25, 2011 1:45 am

I tried harrisons organic pellet and my tiel took to it straight away! I also have a good quality seed mix which I mix with the pellet, I was wondering if this would still be healthy for my bird?

I use Roudy Bush crumbles for my cockatiels but put it in a seperate little feeder. I don't like my food all mixed up so theirs is seperated too.

I have a feeder for mixed seed, one for whole grain cereals, one for unsalted snacks and two that are for fresh foods which I alternate throughout the day and give them some of whatever I am eating at the time. I have lts of plastic cups that set inside their metal bowls that makes it easier to keep it clean. I just throw the plastic in the dish washer.

That's a good idea, I'll try that. I just need to get two more food bowls (one for pellets and one for veggies) thanks
