Can my cockatiel eat wood?

My cokatiel Lemon :greycockatiel: likes to eat her wood. Her toy wood is falvored and she loves it. I was wondering if she can eat it. I dont know if it could hurt her or not please tell me if she can or cant. I dont want her to die or get sick cause we cant afford it. :cry: Please tell me if she can Im worried.

She isn't really eating it - just chewing it to bits and spitting it out.

They all do. They need wood toys to help their beeks.
