I have heard that once a week is fine. You can also try giving your bird red palm oil as well.

I don't know exactly. I think it may have something to with high cholesterol. I don't actually know if feeding a small amount every day would have any negative side effects or not.

It seems to be a bit difficult to find any definitive answers online. I did see this article but it is about Eclectus parrots and those birds have very particular dietary requirements. The part about eggs is right below the picture.

http://eclectusparrots.net/diets.html

I offer my birds hard boiled eggs from time to time. I boil them for a while to make sure they are firm and well cooked. I don't usually offer scrambled eggs because I haven't figured out a good way to fry/scramble them without making them too unhealthy. I think there is a way to do it with water but I haven't tried it yet. I've also added an egg to meals I've been cooking so it is mixed in like it is with fried rice. Sometimes I cut up a hard boiled egg and put it in with their food and sometimes I stick the egg on a skewer.

Your Cockatiel is nutritionally deficient. He shouldn't have a bald spot at all at this age. This is why unexperienced, undereducated people should never raise a chick.

The yolk itself contains 99% of the fat content an egg has and is cholesterol rich. But, the yolk is also JAM packed full of nutrients.

So considering your parrot loves eggs, I would feed them as a treat regularly, but offer only egg white maybe 50% of the time. I'm no nutritional expert, nor a pro with a birds dietary needs, but this is my two cents :)

Cheers bro

well guys i will appreciate any help . im a little late in posting the bald area problem because i thought it was normal until i read that a lake in protein can cause feathers not to grow.

Why don't you look it up on google? Sprout your seeds and feed them. Are cucumbers the only vegetable you eat? Feed him any other vegetable, especially colorful, rich veggies.

If there are no pellets, order them online with your parents. It's not fair that your bird has to grow up on foods that contain barely anything that are required for growth.
