Feeding my Yellow Collar Macaw (video!)

So, I was rummaging through my "Parrot Things" folder tonight.... I discovered tons of stuff that probably should have been posted a long time ago, but I never got around to doing. That eventually led to me forgetting about them up until now.

Moving right along, here's Napoleon when he was first brought home after being hand-raised by a Parrot Place location. She let him come home early w/me (about 2 or 3 weeks) because I'm familiar with weaning and have weaned a few of our parrots already.

I think Napolean really likes his food, he knows whats in the bowl and whats on the spoon. LOL
So cute. Sorry about Riley, s/he looks like a sweet bird too.

Yeah, Napoleon is quite the impatient one (always has been). He knows what's what and waiting is not an option.

sidenote: after testing the temperature of it, I realized I should have pointed out that a thermometer is a better choice. Then again, there's weird debates that if it's too hot for your lip then it's much too hot for the crop. (and yes, a little got into my mouth, but it's fine since it's just some pellets )
