They also eat asperagus ferns. I hung one in the cage for greenery and they ate it. They love to forage through plant on their own. I found out when Charlene (RIP) found Mom's Christmas cactus. I have a picture of her with cactus on her beak. That is from the days before Rambo when they had free flight in the house.
