Hard Anodized Aluminum Cookware-Costco

I recently purchased the 15 piece Hard Anodized Aluminum Cookware set from Costco. When I got home and read the product pamphlet it says that it uses the nonstick technology from Dupont, no mention of PTFE / PFOA free!! I returned the item the next day (Saturday). I just phoned the Costco Headquarters and they told me that this product DOES contain PTFE/PFOA.

Yes, unfortunately non-stick coatings show up in the nastiest of places and are frequently labeled (if at all) in ways that make it hard for us to recognize them. Did you know that non-stick coatings from even microwave popcorn bags or aluminum foil can burn and cause harm to your pet birds? Even blow dryers now have non-stick chemicals put on them. It's crazy! I'm leary of using almost anything other than stainless steel/cast iron/porcelain/Pyrex nowadays.
