I wish you the best of luck. Suns can be very rewarding, but you have to be very caring and loving and willing to give up many hours to help them.

You misunderstood my post. I said the best thing to do would be to rehome the tiels. I did not say you should get a Sun Conure.

LemonLover you scare me.

And you odviously need a different name. Where is Lemon?

And yes, you are very shallow. If you ever mature within your lifetime, it will be embarrassing to think about this event. ;)

I've found that you tend to say the things that I rather not say. I think we should hang out IRL.

I've just gotten to the point, at which if I feel something needs to be said, I might as well say it. Surely I must not be the only one thinking that thing..

I have found this person to be irresponsible and a liar (yes, a liar), just read past posts.
Also, where has she posted that she has always wanted a sun, cos its her fave bird?
I dont think this is an age thing, cos there are some young uns on here that have taken advice/ criticism and learnt, then there is this person, who listens to no-one or nothing.

I am so sorry for Michael, who has created a wonderful forum for people to talk, learn, laugh, cry, etc about their birds and this is what it has come to. This is so sad for him and all his hard work.

I will not be hanging around here any more as I find this kind of shit offensive. I will miss many of you, and hearing about your birds, family etc, but I cannot in good faith, stay here.

OMG! Just thought, what happens when she has kids, will she tire of them, get rid of them and then have more?

Goodbye all, take care, look after yourselves, your family and your birds.

Mum - I am sure Michael will take care of this. Hang in there. I for one don't want to loose you.

Though I worry about LemonLover's future bird, I think I have changed my mind about wanting her to stay.

She is stressing me more than my own crazy life.

Please don't leave. It solves nothing. It neither reduces the likelihood of someone screwing up a bird nor does it encourage them to stop the behavior. With freedom comes responsibility. I would recommend that anyone who is upset or incapable of handling this topic to just skip and enjoy many of the other positive topics on this forum. There's no reason to leave when there are plenty rational/enjoyable people to talk to. Hang in there.

Lemon lover is very irresponsible. She got birds even though she knew she couldn't take them to a vet. She should rehome those birds but not get a sun conure. She will get a sun even though she can't take it to the vet this is just plain irresponsible, I got Ladu because I could take him to the vet, if I couldn't I would not get him *common sense*. That is animal abuse and she should not be allowed to own a bird. Mum is right, this rubbish just winds me up. You do not take advice, you just be stubborn. I hope you finally have learnt.

And mum2rory- please don't leave, just skip any topic that you don't want to read. Thanks
