Hardwood Floors and Zoey

Postby lsteigerwalt » Fri Oct 21, 2011 8:21 pm

Hello all,
My wife and I just had a hardwood floors sanded and coated with polyurathane. The men used an oil based polyurathane and I am wondering how long we should wait until we bring our Quaker Zoey home. We just moved our furniture in last night and want to ensure that we dont bring her home to soon. We dont want to take a risk of the fumes hurting her but miss her dearly. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

As a minimum, I would wait until you can't smell the fumes when you enter the house. Maybe a few days after that even, to be safe.

Thanks for the reply. Posses a bit of a problem as the people who currently are keeping our Zoey are getting their floors redone today...ahhhh. But we will make other arrangments.
