sunflower seeds

Do any of your birds act differently after eating sunflower seeds?
The seed mix I give Echo has a few sunflower seeds in it, enough to where he gets maybe 3-5 a day in his bowl, and I've noticed tht for a few hours after he eats them he is just insanely grumpy. The time frame tends to vary with the amount of sunflower seeds he eats. I've started picking them out, but I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

Personally I have not. I feed Harrison's High Potency as well, which has sunflower seeds as it's main filler ingredient in addition to sunflower seeds as a treat. I haven't noticed behavior changes in either of my birds--at least not for the worse.

I've never noticed anything different with my boys after feeding them sunflower seeds. (They almost never get them now. I use safflower seeds for treats instead.) The only seed issue I noticed was after letting Dante eat a lot of pumpkin seeds; his poop smelled kind of sulfury after that.

Hmm... well Idk what his problem is then lol I guess he just spoiled when he gets them. He didn't get seeds before he came to me.
