Need help converting+ Birdy Bread recipes

So I'm trying to convert my budgies to pellets by leaving pellets in the cage all day and only letting them get seed through training and very short meals. I need a better way to convert them to pellets, though, because even though they acknowledged the pellets as food, they refuse to eat them. I like the idea of birdy bread, though, because Perry will eat it up like seed. Lemonlime not so much.
Can I have a better way to convert? And I'd also like some other recipes to add to my list box on Docs.

Ok, first of all, you shouldn't just change the food completely, you should introduce the pellets over the time course of a week. Put the seeds back in their cage and then slowly add pellets, after a week of slowly adding pellets to the seed and reducing the seed, they should be used to eating pellets. Good luck

Yes this is the standard conversion method and could well work. It didnt for us so rather mixing with seeds and reducing the ratio, we soaked the pellets in orange juice letting them be less mushy each day. It took three days to convert to a full pellet diet. Just beware that you cant leave the mushy pellets in the cage for more than a couple of hours, or they will go bad.
