Hello, JJ and I are new here.
JJ is my new green cheek Conure. He was supposed to be weaned when I bought him from a breeder that I thought was registered and found out is not

. When we first brought him home he did not eat very much and seemed to not try much food that I offered. (his poop was orange as well) I went in search of some parrot parents and a vet tech that told me he was not fully weaned yet, that I needed to feed JJ some formula and try offering him foods first in my lips then if he ate them in his dish. The food part has worked great as he now eats grapes, strawberries, fresh peas, boiled eggs, parsley and assorted beans that I make for him. He also eats a mixture of pellets, with seeds and dried fruit. I can not get him to eat the formula however. I was petting him down the other day and he lifted his wings for a rub as well, when I noticed it is all boney there, almost his whole chest is. I can't tell by looking at him and he seems to eat and have lots of energy, his poop is also green now but I feel as he is to small... is he?
Help please, I plan on having JJ around for a long time!
I watch him when ever he is out and do not think he got into anything....
I know JJ would like any help we can get Thanks
