When I got Rambo I really had no knowledge of parrots except for a few visits with my neighbor. I could not understand why there were so many floaters in his water. Then one day when I gave him a cracker - while I was still watching he walked to the water bowl and dunked it. I about laughed myself silly.

I use bottled water with a filtration system for my pets so I just put less in at a time.

when i pull out the vacuum, Romeo throws water at me! while i rewrap the cord...he throws pellets at the dogs! BUT Rudy :cockatoo: used to toss food over his shoulder and flip it with his wing so he had the title for furthest distribution!

Rambo and Myrtle feed the dogs.

I think Rudy won.

momo is extremely clean.he put all of his food waste back in his food bowl.his newspaper tray always almost clean.if the food bowl full of trash he will complain to me to refill it.the funny thing is,when he accidently poop inside his drinking/food bowl he will make clicking sound because he dsnt want to drink/eat from it.it means me,have to wash and change his bowl.
what a smart bird! :gray:

Rambo does that. I have watched him use his beak to flip seed out. He was looking for his favorite.

An eclectus must be in the top three if not first. Their diet of rice, egg, beans, corn, carrots, peas, etc flung everywhere daily--and I mean flung. Our dog quickly fell in LOVE with our girl when we fed her on a perch on a chair in the middle of the kitchen because of all the food she tossed her.

Had to get her a three sided plexiglass feeder that works great.

my husband just got one for Romeo, its pretty cool. it was fun watching him figure out that it's see through. but it's going to save tons on pellets that were getting thrown away daily. :gray: :amazon:
