Bird issue

Hello I currently have 2 cockatiels one is about four months the other is about one to two months old. The issue is that about two days ago I got a cold and I have not kissed them just have them on my finger and talk to them from a distance. Today I woke up and I felt just fine the only thing I had was a runny nose. As the day passed I felt better little bit by little . Now I decided to hold them and I gave them kisses on the neck and petted them. Is this okay or not any advice is appreciated.
