CuttleBone

Postby Dinho » Thu Jun 14, 2012 8:26 pm

My cockatoo has been chewing at his cage rather frequently and to be honest its getting a little annoying. He has plenty of toys but they are all wooden and I dont think are hard enough to properly wear he beak down.

So has anyone used cuttlebone to help their birds out?

I reckon a cockatoo would either ignore a cuttlebone or destroy it in seconds. I don't think it would help alot with wearing down the beak.

yes it's safe. Just be careful of the ones that have wire attatched to them, they can cause injury.
