Does he eat vegetables? Parrots should be eating more vegetables than fruit, because fruit is very high in water and sugar. Try veggies like sweet potato, kale, carrots, cucumber, etc. You may have to try preparing them different ways (whole, mashed, chopped in big or little pieces, cold, or warm) to see how he will eat it. Nuts and seeds should only make up a small percent of the diet; most people here use them only as training rewards because they are so high in fat and low in other nutrients.
