Zupreem or Roudybush pellets? -need some help!

Postby purple-blizzard » Wed Jul 11, 2012 2:10 am

Ok, guys, first of all, I need your opinions on Zupreem and Roudybush pellets. I currently have been feeding my Indian Ringneck Zupreem pellets for a week now, (Got him a week ago), because the pet store I went to didn't have Roudybush. I decided to go ahead and get the Zupreem pellets because I had heard good things about it. But I've been reading a lot on this forum and some owners said Zupreem had a lot of artificial 'stuff' in it. If more people reccomend Roudybush, all I need to do is go to a different pet store ;). Please help me by giving your opinions! Thanks!! :)

Out of the 2 I would go for the roudybush as it doesn't have all the artificial colours in it. I don't know much else about roudybush because I don't think I can get it over here.
I've heard that zupreem can cause hyperactiveness, dry skin etc in the way too many e-numbers can with a child. Don't know how true this is but it kinda makes sense really.

Of the two I'd recommend Roudybush---I've had horrible experiences with the Zupreem and find it way too full of sugar, wheat, artificial colours and preservatives. Jacko was itchy and her beak/feet flaked like mad. I've had experience with the Roudybush rice and still some itchiness due to low fat but not as bad---plus the ingredients are a tinge better.

That said, I'd recommend a fresh food artificial/synthetic vitamin-free diet as the best one out there.

I use Roudybush. I've heard good things about it from vets. It is the best compromise of quality to cost. Harrison's is regarded as the best but it is disproportionately expensive for marginal improvement. However, Roudybush is pretty much the best non-organic pellet that you can buy.

Ok I guess I'm going to switch him over to Roudybush now, haha. I just didn't know that Zupreem caused so many problems! Anyways thanks for the responses! :)
