Molting Green Cheek conure

Hi,
I dont have alot of experience with molting and my green cheek conure is going through his first molt with me. My parrots personality is normal a little bundle of energy and attitude! But his feathers are just so scraggly right now and look a little fluffed up around the head, his beak is pealing as well. He has been going through his molt for about 2 months now and I can tell he is struggling with it because he is constantly scratching. He takes daily baths but they dont seem to do much for the itch. Im worried that i may be blowing off signs of sickness as "just part of the molt". I attatched pictures for advice on wether my birds feathers look to scraggly or fluffed up at all. Ialso attached a up close pic of the beak for advise on weather this is normal beak peeling or not. Thanks for any advice.

Ollies (my GCC) has been moulting for an absolute age this year too. I do think they have bad moults from time to time so hopefully the next one will be a really light one. I was starting to get really worried as I have never had a bird moult for so long but my vet in unconcerned by it and other users on here have posted similiar things.

You can help your little boy by offering him loads of baths, gentle head scratches and a good diet with a little extra protein. I highly recommend sprouting a good seed and bean mix, it will take care of the extra protein, provide loads of nutrients and natural enzymes (provided you feed raw, cooking will destroy the extra vits and enzymes).

Scrubby went through her first molt earlier this year and (now that she's about a year old) she's going through her second. She's a GCC too and her first one was really dramatic, lasted a while, and involved beak pealing too. We did everything marie said, though, and it eventually wrapped up. If you're very gentle, I'm sure he'd love some light scratches to help clear out the debris from those pins

She's accepting baths a lot more this time around and doesn't seem quite as itchy. She popped a brand new flight feather last week too! It's just the one, but I was very excited

I haven't had much experience, but my GCC is currently going through his first moult with me too. Your conure's feathers and beak look the same as my Ianto's (as far as I can tell from the pics), though Ianto has a light colored head and beak. He is kind of cranky compared to his typical non-moulting self, and wants a little more time alone than usual. He also wants to bathe more often. When he scratches and shakes it almost looks like he has dandruff, but it is pieces of the "tubes" (for lack of a better term) that the feathers grow in and he has broken apart while scratching and preening. Ianto has a piece of coral and a rough perch to rub his beak on. He also really likes to have just about any part of his body rubbed. I imagine that the poor lil guy is teribly itchy
