Aviator harnesses are good, you can buy elasticated flight lines for them which are lightweight and dont jerk the bird to a halt so they fall. They are fairly expensive but are deemed to be the safest available at this time.


Do you have any particular ones you recommend or a website I could browse? I found a couple but cannot seem to determine the exact length of the attached flight line...

Google the parrot university, they sell the aviators and flight lines on there, plus you get free shipping.

I bought that one from a store here. The guy selling to me was against flying with it on, he said it has lead to broken bones. He was against flying birds in total (advocates clipping) and made sure his opinion was noted ;p.

Boy I got some work to do with my bird ;p. How obedient are your birds with step up and not refusing to go in the cage?
