• The dehydrated veggies from parrot shop
• Frozen mixed veggies, which had broccoli, cauliflower, carrots (no additives or
seasonings in this, just the veggies themselves are in this product) (great buys on big
bags of these at Costco! The one which has only the veggies in it is the “Normandy
vegetable blend”)
• A portion of frozen pinto beans, which I’d previous boiled fresh for him myself.
• A few chili peppers from parrot shop . .. .
• A bit of that canned corn “no salt added; ingredients: corn, water.”
Threw all this in a pot of water, boiling it for three minutes. Strain, of course. Then if you rinse under cold water right away, it helps cool it down quick.
HE LOOOOOVED IT!!! AND DIDN’T TAKE HIS HEAD OUT OF THE BOWL UNTIL IT WAS ALL FINISHED!
Put in zip lock bag in fridge, can feed from it for quite a few days, (I wouldn’t go over 3 days letting it sit in fridge). You can make some ahead of time for a few days. Just put some in littler plastic baggie & seal to microwave 10 seconds, to get it luke warm for him, and dump in bowl!
Fresh, healthy for your babies, quick, easy. Share with your bird lovers too!
