Replacing cookware

Postby Hasumomo » Sun Oct 07, 2012 5:20 pm

Sorry if this isn't the right topic, but I figured it would be since it does pertain to my budgie's health.

I'm replacing all my non-stick cookware with Stainless-Steel for now.
I know that many people recommend cast iron, but these sets I found for stainless steel are in our budget. We don't cook often, but we cook often enough that we need something to replace our cooking ware asap.

These are the ones I'm looking at, and I wanted to post them to get a second opinion (more or less looking for an "ok")

This "tri-ply" base is setting me off kilter though. Would that effect anything?

not sure about "try ply", but i imagine stainless steal would be fine for cookware, since most food bowls are SS. not sure if heating it would be a problem, but i doubt it.

i like the first set , probably because i have it :D . i give you my limited experienced "ok"

P.S. don't worry, someone more knowledgeable will probably answer your question, just thought i would give it a go.
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands.

May I suggest glass cookware? It's safe for our birds. :) Also, steel saucepans are recommended. I bought my nice steel saucepans at the thrift store for cheap.

I haven't found any glassware in our budget.
We're probably just going to get that 7 piece set I posted.
