How long after mating do Indian ring necks lay there 1st egg. :hatching:

When they are ready.
My cockatiels mate all year round. Mine don't start laying until January but my daughter's have been getting ahead of themselves. I have to make sure they can't make a nest.

Indian ringneck mostly breed between February and March, some even in April. You can expect
eggs four weeks after mating, in general, but nothing is for sure. They may mate but not have eggs even if they have a nest. Our indian ringnecks mate often the last year but no eggs yet ;(.
