Best Pellets??

I fed Harrison's when I lived next to a petstore that carried it (esp in bulk).

A side note- I've noticed that my bird's feathers look the most bright and glossy when I supplement any pellet with a decent amount of a seed mix. I've read that seeds are basically like a fast-food for your bird and I have to disagree with that. I think they're an incomplete food, but they do have some good stuff in them that a diet of just pellets, nuts, fruits, and veggies is missing.

I agree with this but unfortunately they are pretty much nutritionless, they should be used in addition to a good diet, not the other way round. Like you say though they are a good source of healthy fats, giving the parrot a sheen to its feathers. Mine get small amounts of dry seed a couple of times a week and a bigger serving of sprouted seeds (much more nutritious whilst keeping good fats in the diet) a couple of times a week, more if they are moulting.
