Yesterday I sprayed him with little warm water but that didn't remove much stickiness.Even I tried with damp cloth/towel but he is not showing his face. When I get my hand near his face,he steps up on it.If I hold him,he just tries to escape. He may be scared thinking that I would be giving medicine again.
He is preening,preening,preening...

It must be really sticky stuff!

Try the aloe vera it might help to loosen it as it's an oil. Also use your thumb to hold his feet down then he won't be able to push you away if you still wanted to try and wipe him yourself while hand holding him. If he's preening away he should remove it himself very gradually just keep spraying daily or bathe in warm water to loosen the stickiness. The smell will leave eventually and as long as he acting healthy again that's the main thing. If it's causing problems maybe take him back to the general vet and ask if he can clean it off. Spray daily and give him the opportunity to bathe in warm mineral water and he should be fine.

Hope that helps :-)

Ya he preened most of it so his feathers not looking that much sticky like before.Still some medicinal smell coming from him.All his behaviors seems normal. But I should be very careful due to this sudden change of weather condition. Thanks for the suggestions.I will try out some aloe which grows at my home.

Make sure you dilute the aloe vera oil down otherwise he'll become really oily and greasy. Use it in the spray bottle and he should stop smelling so medicinal.
