Glow in the dark???

Postby xxlazaro » Fri Oct 26, 2012 10:35 pm

Hello I have two cockatiels and I recently purchased a glow in the dark rubberband and I notice it has a smell and I start wondering if this is safe for them because they like licking everything so if you guys can help in any way I'd appreciate it better safe than sorry :)

Any help is appreciated :greycockatiel: :greycockatiel:

Is this a cage toy or just something you have around the house?

If it's something you have around the house I would just keep it away from them... it's better to be safe than sorry...

If there's things they particularly like to lick such as the table or objects, if possible try and clean them in bird-safe disinfectant (F10, Johnson's Bird disinfectant) and wipe them down regularly. Our cockatiel has a thing for licking the table and the heating control on the wall so we clean these with the disinfectant frequently.
