Yeah baby birds always do funny behaviours always different and they haven't got into any kind of routines and are very unpredictable.harry my :rainbow: he's still a few months old and he just started doing this thing where he lifts his head real high and makes clicking sounds and does it heaps.

Glad you're going to a vet... let us know how it goes. I think it sounds like your parrot was just being a vocal baby, possibly making calls, maybe even for its mother. I can't recall Tiki doing this in particular but she makes a variety of noises. She calls for me all the time, it is a high pitched whistle.

:D I bet you hes baby begging[which is a repetative sound] Its something young birds do when their hand fed and weaned.Even when they have been weaned awhile .I think they can regress a little[with you just getting him ] you represent mom.I bet things are fine

I agree that it sounds like begging behaviour. Glad your taking him to the vets for a check up though.

my corella bandit would beg for hours at a time if he saw food or i made eye contact with him or if he just wanted any kind of attention

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aOhu5hMHD3M
he sounded almost exactly the same as this baby bird video but his was lower frequency and louder he did it for the first 4-5 months of having him he did it for hours at a time it was hell
