hello
i just wanted to say good luck with olie and harley. i also think it does look like a bruise and it may not be anything to worry about although i apreaciate your concern and that i am not an avian vet .

i gave my bird some coconut oil and rubbed some on her beak and she loves it. She has tiny lines in her beak but i think they are normal and her beak is pinker at the top she is feed on harrisons cooked ans sprouted beans and rice and veg with fruit.

sorry I forgot about this thread until spiral revived it.

The vet thinks it was a bruise from the mask they use when giving anasthetic since it showed up a couple of days after the last time he had blood drawn. The mark has almost completely gone now.
