Okay, update, I talked to a friend that is a breeder and she agreed that the baytril is wrong, she said go with the tetracycline or doxycycline and soon because the baytril can cause other problems. And alas, the vet is out of the office. Grrrr. I found another vet that I can go to but I'm planning on just getting this vet to switch medicine and try to finish the course of antibiotics and then go to the new vet for the all clear test. I still owe this vet almost $200 which I was planning to pay today but if he wants to be difficult I'm going to have to just take that money and go to the new doctor instead. It is sooooo frustrating dealing with vets that have such a small knowledge about what is right. I mean if I can figure it out by reading on my own, why doesn't he know these things? And why the heck am I paying him almost $500 when it's not really helping my baby.... Whew. Sorry I'm just stressed and needed to vent a bit.
On a happier note, he's eating! :danicing: I got him a honey stick and he started picking at it and then it got him back to eating his pellet mix. I also tried the natural no sugar or salt shredded wheat, loved it! :) I read that's ok in moderation and that they do need lots of carbohydrates, but how often is ok? I've only given it to him once. Any ideas on other forms of carbohydrates? Wheat bread? Noodles? I'm listening :) thanks for the help and shoulder to lean on...my family thinks I've gone obsessive crazy...and they're right. Sigh.

Brown rice is good but make sure it's throughly cooked!
