thats hilarious. i've never heard of a bird doing that before!
my GCC Ringo makes a low-pitched trilling sound (almmost sounds like a growl) when he sees food that he likes. sometimes he continues to make the sound while he's eating.
he also makes the same sound when he's discovered something he's been looking for, like a favorite toy that had rolled into a corner, or a foraged food item.
