I haz an announcement to make! Today I am officially switching to Roudybush.
I have been feeding Tiki what she was fed after being weaned, a seed/pellet/dried fruit and veg mix from a local company. This blend was recommended by the avian vet in addition, so I thought it was awesome, but then I found a peanut with BLACK spots on it and my attitude changed to %^$# this!
I am off to buy Roudybush and am switching my bird ASAP. I am NOT risking the feathered love of my life with aspergillus.

Oh and if you don't believe any of this, then next time your out and about, LOOK around at people and how unhealthy most of them look and feel. You hardly see healthy looking people in America, without always sucking down sodas and coffee to keep them going, and so many of them pale and overweight!
And a fact, Europeans are healthier, less fat and live longer, why because of DIET and lifestyle!

It seems that parrot owners are much like parrots, we're ready to bite if you rub us the wrong way, heh. Off topic but I actually I agree with you that many Americans (generally speaking) have terrible diets. There's "Fast Food Nation" for the curious. Europeans technically do eat better in general as they eat fresher foods; I've been to the UK and France so I would know. I think vegetarianism is the best way to go, but that's my bias. That said I don't mind being pale, I live in freakin' Portland, lol
