Conures in new apartment

Postby beanutbeanutbeanut » Thu Feb 07, 2013 6:05 pm

Hello,

We have two green cheek conures.

We are going to be moving into a new apartment that was just recently vacated and cleaned.

I am looking for advice on what sort of procedures or precautions we should take to ensure that this new apartment doesn't have anything "toxic" which can affect the health of our birds - perhaps in the air from recently used cleaning products or something else.

Additional info: There doesn't appear to be any new paint, all the appliances are electric (no gas) and there are CO detectors installed. There is a fireplace and the carpets were recently cleaned.

Am I worrying for nothing?

Thank you :),
Ryan

PS These birdy gifs are neat! :gcc: :swaying:
